0-42
November the 21st was a day of mixed emotions for me, as I played my FINAL game in the proud Green
and Gold of the Confederation Chargers.
BUT.....
I GOT TO PLAY A BOWL GAME BABY!!!!!
we played a team we knew very little about in kitchener for the "A" Division Championship. It was with out question
a route, but we held them back in the second half. All though its not how I wanted to go out, I have no regrets

For the First time of the modern era, Confed Football hit the road. They boarded for Sturgeon falls to face the Northern
Secondary school braves. While NSS looked like they were going to be an extremely difficult challenge, Confed dominated with
their starters in taking a 15-0 first quarter lead.
The game was great for both schools as they got to play all their players

17-25
SHOCKED!
Confed blew a half time lead to Lockerby for the second time this season. They were in a losing battle for field position
all night long and it was only a matter of time before Lockerby pounded one in. Confed brought it, but in the end Lockerby
had more on the board.
Good Luck against Notre Dame

39-10
Confed came out flying in this one. Tomas the tank engine Kirkpatrick was averaging over 50yds a carry after his first
to carries and the Chargers scored on their first play.
Penalties killed Confed again as they were over 200yrds in penalties for the 5th time of the year. That wont get them past
the first round of the A Division playoffs.

7-14
This was a devastating loss for the chargers. They had the lead and the ball with 3 minutes to
go. But 2 turn over’s and an onside kick gave Lockerby the opportunity they needed to take a 14-7 lead which turned
into a victory.
But a Confed win and a St. Charles win means Confed gets another shot @ Lockerby in the playoffs.

47-0
Confederation proved there offence is just as potent as previously expected with a 48-0 win over Sudbury Secondary. Sud
Sec has definitely improved but the reigning champs proved to be too much power as the game wore on.
Confed got to play several players including Chirs Doust and Steff Thomas, the future of their offence.
If Confed had a negative this game it would have to be the penalties. THREE touchdowns were called back because of Confederation
penalties.
BRING ON THE VIKINGS

9-8
This was a game that was way too close for comfort. Confed opened the game by shutting Notre Dame down while on Defence
and then marching down field on our first scoring drive of the year.
But then CND nailed a touch down to take a 7-3 lead.
Notre Dame then kicked the ball into the Confed end zone for a single point for an 8-3 lead. but then great pass from hutch
to Mott pushed Confed down field were we eventually scored. Tommy Gun punched it in and we were up 9-8. But late in the game
CND had the ball in the Confederation red zone. the last play of the game and Notre Dame had the field goal blocked and we
won.

0-9
A 9-0 loss is not how the Chargers had hoped to open their season. In fact its the worst start in franchise history. But
what went wrong. Its tough to say with out pointing fingers.
Mike Willcock and his Defence could not have been much better. They kept Rheal under 100 yards and didnt allow St. Charles
to complete a single pass. In fact 2 of the 3 turn overs they created where interceptions by David the Italian Stallion D'Antonio.
The only points they gave up where a 30 yard field goal by Salvano Constantini.
On the Offence though, things weren’t so pretty. No charger receiver had more than one catch and no running back
100 yards. The Result, no points on the board. Next game look for two time all-star Adam ‘here comes the money’
Hebert to be in the line up. With him, the Confed offence becomes 3 timers as potent, he’s that good.
Well, we'll see them again in October for sure
