Well quite frankly we pick a hell of a time to have
one of the worst losses in franchise history. 5 turnovers on offence, and they weren't mistakes from rookies.
This has left a sout taste in our mouths for months now

17-21
Not Again! Make it FIVE STRAIGHT for Lockerby over Confed. To make
things just that much better, we blew a second half lead for the FOURTH time in those five games. This have got to end!
Lockerby came out hitting an physically man-handled the Confederation Defence.
They were bigger, stronger, and wanted to hit harder then anyone wearing green for nearly the entire first quarter.
But then, something happened. The Defense that has been labeled as "soft" by much of ACG crowed began to hit back,
Next thing you know, Confed is on top 17-4 and is in field goal range. Then the melt down began.
Confed was given a 15 yard penalty for bitching to the refs and that took them
out a field goal range and made a first down nearly impossible. Combine that with a great punt return and all of the
sudden the Vikes have great field position, and 3 minutes left on the clock. They Smashed the ball up the middle, put
7 on the board and gave the ball back with under a minute to go. Confed couldn't answer back.

14-11
WHOA! This game was NOT supposed to be this close, but the
Cards seemed stacked against the Chargers in the early going. How you say? Where do I start.
Well, 7 starters including league leading rusher Mike Switzer
did not make it to the game as the highway they needed to get home from an outdoor ed trip was closed. No problem right?
They still have Jessup, Pettie, Bision, and Mott right? They can just put the ball in the air all day, CND can't stop it.
Well.......Winds were blowing so hard that punting was nearly impossible, game-planning around the pass would have been rediculous.
Instead, they put ILB Chris Ristomaki in at centre
for Keaton O-Connor (on the bus!) and gave the barbeque his first start at TB. The defence was equally shuffled.
Starting Saftey Chris Gervais was also on the bus so back up QB Travis Cambell made his first start in
the secondary (he would later make an appearence at left takle due to that DAM bus!) the D line was shuffled around all game
long.
Once the game started, CND punched it in for a TD on
a blown coverage play. Rather then kick for the 1 point, they went for, and got a two point convert.
Confed then answered on a TJ-JB hook up in the first
quarter. rather then chase points so early the game, confed kicked for the 1.
Later on a punt return, confed couldn't make it out of the
endzone, so they conceded the single point making it 9-7.
Forced to punt into near-gail-force winds from their
1 yard line, the Chargers took a knee in the endzone and gave the Als 2 points for an 11-7 lead, the points
stopped there.
The Game was then delayed as a yet to be identifed CND player
sustained what is believed to be a broken leg, and the ambulance had to be called in to haul him off the field. Then
for the first time ever, it snowed in the Jungle during a game.
Confed rallied back in the second half as MVP
candidate Matt Mott made serval clutch catchs and scored what would go on to be the winning TD. He made yet another
interception on the last play of the game to preserve the Chagers win

44-25
4-0! Confed has tied its franchise best start for
the second year in a row and will try and set a new 5-0 best next week.
This weeks rumble in the jungle was dominated by Mike
Switzer silencing his critics who said that he was the product of last years O-line and that he was done for the year after
an "injury" against SCC. Switzer ran for 200+ yards and a carrer best 3 touchdowns as Confeds Offence continued
its domination by putting up a season high 44 points. That gives them a league high average of 37.5 points
per game.
36-21
Confederation's offence looks like the real deal this year as the Chargers are
averageing 35 points a game with NONE of them coming from the defence or special teams. Trevor Jessup continues
to pick up exactly where Shane Hutchinson left off and is infact improving on it. Jessup is the first Confed QB to lead
the leauge in passing yards through 3 games. Mike Switzer continues to dominate on the ground while Joe (LT) Longi
continues to provide the perfect compliment.

This game was billed as the game of the week by many. However,
Confeds team effort seemed to overpower LaSalles seemingly 1 man show. That being said, Confed did have a few players
who put up some pretty big numbers.. Matt Mott had another mulit-touchdown 100+ yard game on offence and another multi-interception
game on Defence. The question on the mind of nearly every member of the Charger Nation is, Adam who????

34-0
CSS took care of business early in this game as they scored on their first two
drive while Mike Switzer put up nearly 150 yards rushing. The Chargers got a chance to keep their Young Defence together
and on the field, and with the help of wide reciever Matt Mott palying corner, the D caused 3 turnovers and didnt surender
a point.

0-12
Confed kicked off their season with a good showing at the North
South Classic. The Bears showed that they have a great amount of deepth but certainly did not beat up on the Chargers
as many expected they would. Confed field a Defence with just two players (only 1 starter) from last season and made
signifigant strides tword maintaining its reputation as one of the top Ds in the league
